What are web comics

Web comics are just what they sound like, comics found on the web. They are often but not always in the same three panel layout as comic in the news paper. Others are more like actual comic books. Best of all they are free and do not take up valuable shelf space. Their are web comics covering almost every subject imaginable. So, every one shoud be able to find at least a few they like.
